The band formally know as 100 Monkeys new name

So I spent most of the day in bed, not because I was sick or anything but because the weather was dreary and I felt like sleeping more then doing anything else. So I get up and see that the Ben's band has a new name, and what is that name you may ask? Pink fuzzy Animals. Yep that's right a bunch of grown men all in their late 20s early 30s are going to call themselves something that sounds like a little girl would play with. Really what the fuck where they smoking and or drinking when they agreed on this name and where in the fuck did they even get this name from? I know that I won't be buying anything with that name on it, I mean hello I so don't want to walk around with Pink Fuzzy Animals on my back, people will think me weird and that I need to go to the loony bin. Its going to be so hard to say "hey lets go and see Pink Fuzzy Animals in concert" with a straight face.

I will admit that there new single 'Shooting Star' is cool but it sounds like Mechanical People which of course the Ben's are in. I don't know why they just didn't dissolve the former band seeing as how its only the Bens still left and just stay as MP. I bet that Jackson and Jerad are rolling in laughter when they found out what the new name was. Most likely texting or calling each other to comment about it.

Will I still be a fan Pink Fuzzy Animals? Not a bloody clue. Will I ever stop laughing when I hear, see or write their new name?No, I'll always laugh. Do I want to be known as a Pink Lady? Not sure, sounds more like I should be in a version of Geese

I love Graupner, I truly do (damn guy weaseling his way into my heart) but I don't know if I can stand behind a band with this kinda name. I know that I'll still love MP and I guess that's how I'll get my Graupner fix. (don't tell the other girls though. Although, they don't believe that I can love him because I'm known as a Jackson girl)

Katie's 100 Monkeys challenge

So my good friend Katie has her own blog and she wanted people to write stories about the 100 Monkeys to help deal with the band no longer being together and also to get away from all the negativity that's been going around. She messaged me on Facebook asking for my story, I told her that I never met the guys and she said that it didn't matter I still listen to their music and made some awesome friends in the process and that's the story that she wanted. The band formerly known as 100 Monkeys first show since Jackson and Jerad left

Ok so I'm in the process of listing to the live stream as I write this and all I want to do is cry. I knew that it was going to be hard when Double J left the group and that it wouldn't sound the same but I didn't think that it would be this hard. Nothing sounds the same Benny sang 'Orson Brawl' and he should never do it again. That song is a Jackson song and will forever remain a Jackson song.

Matt Black and Rob Coonrod are the two new members and it just doesn't work out. I love Benny and I don't want to leave him but I don't know if I can keep listing to them. Uncle has just said that he's no longer singing Invisible Monsters, I don't know if that means that he's leaving the band also even though they posted on their website that the line up will be Graupner, Johnson, Black, Coonrod and Uncle as a featured artist or if he's just not singing that song anymore.

Every time a song starts and I say no you can't sing that because Jackson and Jerad is not there mom keeps asking me why I'm still listening to it and I tell her that as soon as I know I'll tell her. I have no clue as to why I'm still here with my earbud in one ear while Law&Order: Criminal Intent plays in the background listening to them.

It has been reported that Jackson no long wants the guys to use the 100 Monkeys name and logo and I fully agree with him because he's the one that started the band, came up with the name and back in the early days his sisters did the artwork for the band. Of course people are hating on Jackson for doing this and its pissing me off royally. Jackson has every right to do that. I'll stand by him forever.

The guys have got to not do the old songs because they can't do them without Jackson and Jerad. 'Junkie' is playing right now and although Benny is a good singer, he can't sing this song. They did 'Wing's On Fire' earlier and it wasn't the same with Jerad acting as ground control telling them that their wing is on fire. It was a great opening long ago but not no more.

Its over now and I don't know what I'm going to do, I love Benny but I don't know if I can keep listening to "The Band With No Name" anymore. My head is all befuddled and I have no answers. The only thing that I know is that I'll forever love and support Jackson and Jerad in all that they do. I can't wait for Jackson's new music to come out.

I used to look forward to the live stream which were always few and far between but I don't think I will be as excited anymore. I bet all the Graupner and Johnson fans who are solely their fans and couldn't care less about the other guys are going crazy now that the live stream is over but if you're a true fan I don't know how you can be excited anymore. The band is falling to pieces and I don't think anything can save it.
